May 16th Field Day at Lerner Park
Arlan and Larry will be assessing the needs we have for Rotarians in our conduction of the Lerner Park annual field day on May 16th. We will be looking for volunteers to supervise eighth graders in honey suckle removal, walking-path improvements, and planting prairie plants that the students have started in the school greenhouse. We will be inviting the Friends of Lerner Park to assist us in this student friendly hands-on learning activity.

Community Consultant Days w/ Mr. Rockwell
Mr. Rockwell's Careers Class is entering the second and final round of Business Innovation Projects at OMS. The first round was a great success and generated some excitement. With refinements Mr. Rockwell is looking forward to even more success this round. Please consider lending your time and expertise in the classroom again as students develop their business projects. As before, the first 4 weeks are spent consulting with students in the classroom; helping them think through problems of employment, finance and innovation. June 1 and 2, judges are needed.
